Stump grinding in St. Cloud, FL

Stump gone. Yard back.

Stumps ground below the surface, so the spot can be leveled, sodded or planted again.

Stump grinding

Ground below grade. Ready for sod.

A stump left after a removal is a mower hazard, a trip hazard and, in Florida, a termite magnet.

Many keep sending up sprouts that try to grow back. Grinding it out is the quick fix.

We grind the stump below grade, along with the big surface roots around it.

What’s left is a pile of wood chips and soil.

Tell us at the estimate if you want the chips raked back in as mulch or hauled away so you can sod.

Stump grinding can be added to any removal, or booked on its own for stumps someone else left behind.

One big oak stump or a row along the fence: call with the count and rough size and we’ll quote it free.

How deep do you grind?

Deep enough to sod or plant grass over. If you want to plant a new tree in the same spot, tell us at the estimate so we can go deeper.

Can the grinder get into my backyard?

Usually it goes through a gate. If access is tight, let us know your gate width when you call and we’ll plan around it.

Do you grind palm stumps?

Yes. Palm and hardwood stumps both grind out.
