We’re based on Pine Grove Road on the east side of town, about ten minutes from the lakefront downtown.
That makes St. Cloud our shortest drive, and usually the quickest estimate we can set up.
Around the old downtown grid near Lakefront Park, older homes sit under live oaks and laurel oaks.
Many of those oaks have been growing for decades, with long limbs over roofs, driveways and streets.
Out along Old Canoe Creek Road, Narcoossee Road and US-192, the neighborhoods are newer.
There it’s palms, young oaks and pines planted with the house, plus wooded lots backing onto open land.
St. Cloud still goes by Soldier City, after the Union veterans who settled it in the early 1900s.
Some oaks on those first streets are nearly that old. They deserve a careful trim, not a guess.
